About

Hollywood Creative Alliance, commonly referred to as HCA, is a 501 c6 membership-based, not-for-profit organization. Its diverse and inclusive membership includes critics, entertainment journalists, content creators, industry insiders, and creatives with a shared passion for celebrating excellence in film and television.

HCA believes in creating a culture where representation is a critical component to the evolution of the entertainment industry.
The vision and mission of the Hollywood Creative Alliance is to amplify diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and culture in film and television. Throughout the year, our members will have the opportunity to be highlighted through various committees, events, award shows, and new projects.

Our current slate of award ceremonies, which includes the HCA Film Awards & HCA TV Awards, has bestowed awards to Dwayne Johnson, Quinta Brunson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Brie Larson, and Nicolas Cage, as well as several Film & Television casts, including As We See It, CODA, RRR, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. The HCA Awards have also ensured that new, diverse, and rising talent is recognized and celebrated at every ceremony.

HCA has had the pleasure of partnering with Petco Love, Vahdam® Teas, William Grant & Sons, J'Adore Les Fleurs, and Heineken…we will continue to work alongside sponsors, partners, and with the support of major and independent studios and networks.

In 2023, the HCA has restructured and rebranded to expand its content to include an official magazine, conversation and screening series, podcasts, after-shows, and other industry and consumer-driven in-person and virtual events. The organization looks forward to creating original content and programs to educate, entertain, and inspire those within the industry and worldwide audiences.
