Who can apply to be part of the HCA and what are the requirements for membership?

The Hollywood Creative Alliance wants to support and elevate its members daily. We strongly encourage all our members to participate regularly and attend HCA events and activities whenever possible. Each new member of the Hollywood Creative Alliance will receive a member handbook upon acceptance into the organization. The handbook will include a code of conduct, membership rules and requirements, and a complete breakdown of all planned activities that HCA would like to execute that year. To accept membership, you must read and sign the membership handbook within ten days of receiving your welcome email. The HCA has a yearly membership fee of $150 per calendar year. A link to pay your dues can be found in your welcome email. 

Film & TV Critics 

If you are a film or television critic with two or more years of experience, we welcome you to apply to become part of The Hollywood Creative Alliance. 
When submitting your application, please be aware that you must submit a minimum of 25 links of coverage from the last year. 

Entertainment Journalists

Are you currently an entertainment journalist that covers film and television with two or more years of experience? If so, we welcome you to apply to become part of the Hollywood Creative Alliance.  
When submitting your application, please be aware that you must provide a minimum of 25 links of coverage from the last year in order to be considered for membership.

Creatives

Whether you are an up-and-coming filmmaker, a master of editing, or an A-List actor, we would love to have you as a member of the Hollywood Creative Alliance.
All creatives must be active in the field of entertainment and have a minimum of three or more credits within the past five years to be considered for membership. 

Industry Professionals

Those who work on the business side of the film and television such as public relations, talent agents and representatives, marketing managers, entertainment lawyers, and distribution workers are all welcome to apply to become of the Hollywood Creative Alliance. 
In order to be considered for membership, you must provide proof that you currently working in the field. 

Who reviews my application and when will I be notified if I have been accepted?

We accept new members quarterly. Each application will be reviewed by the leadership and membership committee. We will notify all new members via email. Unfortunately, we cannot contact those not accepted due to overwhelming demand.  If you need help completing the application, don't hesitate to contact membership@hollywoodcreative.org, and we will be happy to assist you.
